Catherine is a senior research analyst and the manager of SHARE’s proxy voting service.
Her work includes the development and ongoing revision of SHARE’s Model Proxy Voting Guidelines, conducting the annual Key Proxy Vote review, researching and voting proxies for our proxy-voting clients, and making sure our proxy voting service runs smoothly.
Catherine has been with SHARE since 2001 and has been responsible for proxy voting at SHARE since the program’s inception. Before coming to SHARE, she taught political science at colleges in the US, at Kwantlen University College and at Simon Fraser University. She has done volunteer work in various capacities in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. She also worked as a legal assistant for the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and at several private law firms.
She holds an MA in Political Science from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
