Tamara joined the Global Unions Committee on Workers’ Capital in May 2016 to provide support to trade union pension decision-makers on issues related to worker capital stewardship and responsible investment.
Prior to joining the CWC, Tamara worked nationally and internationally on a range of environmental and social issues. Her experience includes working on trade and human rights issues at Rights & Democracy and social policy at the Carnegie Community Action Project. Most recently, she was Program Director at the BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Association.
Tamara holds a Master’s Degree in Studies in Policy and Practice from the University of Victoria, where her research focused on mining, corporate social responsibility and land acquisition in Mexico.
