Rail Safety and Executive Compensation in the TSX60
A new investor brief from SHARE finds just under half of the energy companies in the TSX60 that ship dangerous goods by rail have identified rail transportation as a possible material risk factor for the company. The briefing reviews seventeen energy and railway companies in the TSX60 index and whether they base any part of their executives’ compensation on better safety performance.
