Investor Briefing: Responsible Investment in Housing Disclosure Framework
June 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

Investing in residential real estate holds the potential for both social benefits and risks. Responsible investment in housing can contribute to social equality and other positive impacts consistent with an institutional investor’s fiduciary duties. Irresponsible property management practices can be associated with human rights issues that raise reputational, regulatory, legal and operational risks for institutional investors.
In this session, SHARE will present a set of disclosures to support investors in conducting due diligence in residential real estate. The disclosures fill an important gap: They are a tool for investors to identify property management practices in their portfolio that are less aligned with responsible investment and foster market transparency. Investors can use this tool to engage their managers and/or building operators in public and private markets, including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and/or private equity fund managers.
Register here to attend. Registrants will receive a copy of the framework ahead of the session.
